The one bit that you need to watch out for is the end where the King shows up with enemy reinforcements every turn and you need to either do enough damage to make it run or kill it out right. If you think the endgame is too easy and boring but enjoy the early game challenge, then delaying the Nest/Rulers might make these encounters boring as well.If you find the early game grind too tedious and love the endgame for the variety of options you have to use against the aliens, then you might find waiting until you have all the toys before facing the Rulers a lot of fun.I only got the DLC last night, and immediately tried it on an endgame save (C/I). The nest stage itself is fairly easy and straight forward until the end since you got Reaper-Blade Storm Bradford with you to take care of the lesser enemies. Xcom 2 alien hunters not showing up. It was extremely satisfying for me to see the BQ being brought down to 28HP after one round of overwatches, and equally satisfying to be able to (barely) kill the AK in one turn, but I can see people thinking that this would make these encounters 'boring', so you have to decide what you like with your game.
