The best quality of racing in Australia takes place at the metropolitan meetings, mainly taking place in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland although there are others. Our free Australian horse racing tips will focus largely on these meetings because of the better quality of racing.

Sky Sports racing guru Alex Hammond offers her 10 horses to follow for the 2015-16 Jumps racing season. Don Cossack - Gordon ElliottAn obvious choice, but a horse that has a great chance of winning some of the leading staying chases. He's 5/1 with Sky Bet for the King George and 7/1 for the Gold Cup after his wins in last season's Melling Chase and Punchestown Gold Cup. He has started his season well when outclassing his rivals in two starts, including the JNWine.com Champion Chase at Down Royal last month. He has got 'potential Gold Cup winner' stamped all over him and he is finally showing the abundance of talent that his trainer has always known he has possessed. He could be targeted at the newly-styled chasing 'Triple Crown' which comprises of the Betfair Chase, King George and Gold Cup.

Free Expression - Gordon ElliottHe worked his way up the ranks with an Irish Point-to-Point win, a Bumper success, before a winning debut in Maiden company over hurdles before stepping up to win a Grade 2 over timber. He wasn't disgraced on his final start in a Grade 1 at Naas in January and he looks the type that will come into his own over a fence. Things didn't go entirely to plan last term and we haven't seen him since that run at Naas in January, but the extra time to mature wouldn't have been the worst thing and he should make his mark in Beginners Chases in Ireland before stepping up in grade.

Barters Hill - Ben PaulingBen Pauling is making a good impression since taking out his licence in 2013. As a former assistant to Nicky Henderson he has learned from the best and he is now making a real name for himself. In Barters Hill he has a potential flag bearer. The 5 year-old is unbeaten in four bumpers and started out his hurdling career at Huntingdon at the beginning of this month. That was over a trip just shy of two and a half miles and he made all to win nicely in the end.

NOTE! Halo wars 2 patch download. This game works ONLY on Windows 10×64, build 1709 or later.

Pauling expected he would improve for the run there as his horses had been needing their first outings and he looks a novice capable of taking high order over staying trips as the season progresses. Yanworth - Alan KingThis horse was given a favourable mention by his trainer in a recent stable tour and he made the perfect start to his campaign at Exeter's Haldon Gold Cup meeting where he won a novice hurdle in good style. He was a very smart bumper performer last season (fourth in the Champion Bumper at Cheltenham when not getting the best luck in running) and should take high order in novice hurdles this season, most likely over further than the two miles one furlong he ran over at Exeter. More on this story.Broadway Buffalo - David PipeIf you're looking for an out-and-out staying chaser then this is the guy for you. He is a really tough performer who is at his best on soft ground or worse.

He ran a cracker to finish 2nd in the 4 mile National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham festival and when the ground is in his favour he takes some beating in the staying chases. He could be one for the Grand National if he gets his ground at Aintree in the spring and on his preferred surface will be one to keep on the right side of. He could start back in France this weekend. Moon Racer - David PipeI've already highlighted Yanworth, who was fourth in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham festival. Well, this was the horse that won that Grade 1 to take his record to three from three. Whilst Yanworth is likely to step up in trip over hurdles, this chap looks like he will stick to the two-mile route with his ultimate aim the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle at the festival in March for which he is already 8/1 joint favourite with the sponsors. It could be that he starts his season fairly low key, but he is a class act and an exciting hurdler to follow.

Augusta Kate - Willie MullinsYou could make up the whole list of ten from the powerful Willie Mullins stable, with JLT Novices' Chase winner Vautour, Supreme winner Douvan, top class mare Annie Power, Champion Hurdle winner Faugheen and Arkle winner Un De Sceaux, amongst a wealth of talent, but they are all there for everyone to see. I've already highlighted Alvisio Ville who should be one to watch over fences. Another horse to follow from the Mullins stable is Augusta Kate who could mop up plenty of mares races in Ireland, first in bumpers and then over hurdles.

She is bred for the job being by star stayer Yeats out of Feathard Lady who was unbeaten in 7 starts (5 over hurdles) including in the Grade 1 Christmas Hurdle at Sandown. She made the perfect start to her career in a mares' Pro/Am INHF at Listowel in September beating her opposition by a wide margin and whilst she apparently doesn't show that level of ability at home, she certainly turns it on at the track and could rack up a sequence. Saphir Du Rheu - Paul NichollsThe grey could be one to get an early season prize in the bag as he's already got off the mark for the season (in an Intermediate Chase at Carlisle) and is 5/1 favourite with Sky Bet for the Hennessy later this month. He had a blip when falling over fences at Kempton in a grade 1 Novices' Chase last Christmas and was sent back over hurdles, winning the Cleeve and finishing runner up in the World Hurdle.

But, the plan was always to go back over fences and he won the Mildmay at Aintree before being put away for the summer. It was good to see him have that confidence booster at Carlisle and the sky's the limit for the horse who is still only 6 years old. Gold Cup winner Coneygree's presence in the Hennessy will keep the weights down for the others and I hope this horse can get a big prize or two on his CV this season.

Ard Abhainn - 'mare with a big future'She's a mare with potential and only came to us after a sale at the Cheltenham Festival. At home she was doing fine heading to Punchestown but I wasn't sure if she had enough done to win so the fact she was able to make a winning debut says plenty about her ability. I haven't yet spoken to her owners about where she will go this season but it's possible she could start back in a black type bumper before then going jumping.

She's a mare with a big future.Abacadabras - 'a very talented sort'He is a very talented sort and with the summer behind him he looks to have strengthened up nicely. In bumpers he was a high-class horse as he showed with his runs at Cheltenham and Punchestown and even then I thought he had some growing up to do so hopefully we will see a more mature horse this season. I'm hoping he will contend for good two mile novice hurdles throughout the season and he will probably start off in the second half of October or early November. Andy Dufresne - 'no rush with him'He's a lovely horse who was impressive in beating a subsequent winner of Willie's at Down Royal last January. Hopefully he's a horse with a very nice future and I'll soon be talking to J.P. (McManus) and Frank (Berry) about plans for him but I would imagine he will be going hurdling this season.

We're in no rush with him and will just take it one race at a time this season.Battleoverdoyen - ' could be a Grade 1 class novice chaser'I'd like to think that he will be a very exciting novice chaser for the coming months. He's a fine, big horse who has always looked as though he would be at his best as a chaser and anything he did over hurdles was going to be a bonus.

He did win a Grade 1 over hurdles and the fact he did so within six weeks of winning a bumper says a lot about his ability. He didn't run any sort of race at Cheltenham but a few things went against him over there and I'm happy to draw a line through that. He's a lightly raced horse who we have taken our time with and I'm hoping that patience will pay dividends this winter. On what he has shown I think that he could be a Grade 1 class novice chaser.Ben Dundee - 'has the ability to win a good pot'After starting out over fences with a couple of encouraging runs he lost his way through the winter before ending the season with a good third to A Plus Tard at Cheltenham and a respectable fourth at Punchestown. Those last two runs should have done his confidence plenty of good and I know he has the ability to win a good pot somewhere this season. I'd imagine we will be working backwards from Cheltenham and I'll talk to his owner Chris Jones about what route we take with him.Bigbadandbeautiful - 'should make up into a smart novice hurdler'We didn't overdo things with her last season as she looked like a filly who would improve with age and I was very pleased with what she was able to show us.

She ran very well in a high class mares bumper at Leopardstown in February and she never came off the bridle to win a bumper at Clonmel several months later. She will go jumping and should make up into a smart novice hurdler.Bioverdia - 'could do very well this season'She's a filly with a lot of potential. She was very impressive first time out in a Ballinrobe bumper last April and then she ran very respectably in a good mares' bumper at Punchestown by which stage she might just have gone over the top. Bioverdia has done well for a summer off and is a filly that could do very well this season. I will speak to her owner about plans but she might start back in a decent mares bumper before then going hurdling. I'd be hoping that she will at least pick up some black type over the coming months.Black Tears - 'good enough to win black type'Over jumps she only has a Fairyhouse maiden hurdle win to her name but she went on to be beaten less than two lengths into fourth in the mares novice hurdle at Cheltenham. She is a talented sort who is definitely good enough to win black type races and that will be the aim with her this season.

I haven't spoken to the owners yet about what route we take with her as there are good opportunities for her over hurdles but the novice chase programme for mares also looks tempting.Borice - 'more to come from him'When he came to us last season I was hoping he would be a horse for top staying chases. On his first couple of runs for us things didn't really work out for him but he really came to himself in the summer and I was delighted with his win in the Galway Plate. He'll be aimed at top staying handicaps with the Ladbrokes Trophy at Newbury a likely target and maybe he will make up into a National horse. I think there is more to come from him.Champagne Classic - 'a horse for the four miler at Cheltenham'He spent a long time off after winning a Grade 1 novice hurdle at Punchestown a few years ago but he showed that he retained his ability when reaching the frame in a couple of graded novice chases last season.

He was one that probably wasn't suited by the dry winter last season as we only got a couple of runs into him but hopefully we will enjoy a full campaign with him this time. The hope is that he could make up into a horse for the four miler at Cheltenham.Chosen Mate - 'one to watch out for in good handicaps'Things just haven't gone right for him lately. He was pulled up in the Galway Hurdle after meeting early interference and then he ran very well in a €100,000 handicap hurdle at Listowel after meeting more trouble in-running. I think we are going to stick to hurdling with him for the moment and we won't over race him this season but he's one to watch out for in good handicaps throughout the season as there is a big pot to be won with him.Coeur Sublime - 'a very good horse on his day'He has just a maiden hurdle win to his name but he is a very good horse on his day and he showed that he was one of the best juveniles seen out last season when finishing second in the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham. I'll speak to his owner Chris Jones about plans but the logical thing would be to aim him at the four-year-old only graded races this side of Christmas. After that we could see what direction we will take with him in the spring but there is more to come from him as a hurdler and he's a horse I'm really looking forward to over the coming months.Column Of Fire - 'a more mature and stronger horse'He might just have been on the weak side when we tried hurdling with him last season and he does look to have come back as a more mature and stronger horse this season. I've always thought that he was a horse with plenty of talent - his bumper form would back that up - and this season I'm hoping he will make up into a decent jumper over intermediate trips.Dallas Des Pictons - 'size and scope to do very well over fences'He's a lovely horse who is another big chasing type.

As a hurdler he progressed well last season and he won a big pot at Leopardstown in February before finishing second in the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham. The plan for him this season is fences and he will start back some time in November. He's got the size and scope to do very well in that game and I'm hoping a switch to fences will see him make up into a graded class performer over a trip.Daylight Katie - 'one that I'm excited about'She's a very classy mare and one that I'm excited about.

She did really well for her owner David Dunsdon last season when running a series of good races in quality bumpers. I think she has the potential to make up into a very good novice hurdler and if she reaches the level that she did last season she will be more than competitive in all those good races for mares.Dinons - 'a nice staying prize to be won'He loves good ground so he mightn't be that busy through the winter and I'm hoping he might be one to run at the first couple of Cheltenham meetings. I thought he ran creditably behind Wicklow Brave at Listowel last time when the trip was on the sharp side for him and he didn't jump well early on but he finished out his race really well. When he gets to go three miles I think you'll see a far better horse and there's a nice staying prize to be won with him somewhere.Dounikos - 'can win another big pot over fences'He can be a bit in-and-out but when he's good he is a high-class handicapper as he showed when winning the Grand National Trial at Punchestown last February. As I say he isn't that consistent but he remains a horse that can win another big pot over fences and I'd say we will aim him at all those good staying handicap chases throughout the season. He might start out in the Troytown at Navan in November.Festival D'ex - 'looks very exciting'I would imagine that he will go down the novice hurdle route and, while we are still feeling our way with him, I'd hope that he could make up into a high-class jumper.

He has only run once for us but he produced quite a display to run out a 10 lengths winner of the Goffs Land Rover Bumper at the Punchestown Festival. On that showing he looks very exciting and we will look to start him out in a maiden hurdle some time in November. He's owned by a great supporter of the yard in John Doyle.Fury Road - 'more mature type this year'He's a big, strong horse and I think jumping was always going to bring out the best in him. We rated him highly last season and he did win on his second start before going to show up well in a winner's bumper at Punchestown but I still don't think we saw the best of him. I'd say he might still have been a bit green and raw and he should be a much more mature type this year. He's got the ability to make up into a graded class horse.Galvin - 'could be an interesting horse'He could be an interesting horse this season.

He started his career by winning his first five starts and when he moved up in grade I thought that he acquitted himself well behind City Island at Cheltenham and when finishing second to Getaway Trump at Ayr. There's more to come from him and he could make up into a very nice novice chaser as he's a good jumper who stays well but I'll talk to his owner Ronnie Bartlett before we settle on plans for the coming months.Hardline - 'hoping he will have another good season'I always hoped that he would make a better chaser than a hurdler and he did really well as a novice chaser last season when he won at Grade 1 level. He wasn't at his best in the Arkle at Cheltenham but he finished off with a good run under a big weight at Punchestown in May and I'm hoping he will have another good season. Anything from two miles to two miles five furlongs is fine for him and we'll be looking at all those graded races from two miles and upwards for him. The two-and-a-half mile Grade 2 at Gowran in October could be a possible starting point for him.Malone Road - 'excited to see him out again'A lot of people are keen to see him after what he showed in two bumper runs last season and I'm excited to see him out again as well. He just suffered an injury to his knee on his second run and, while it wasn't career threatening, it came at the wrong time of the season and meant that we had to back off and give him the rest of the season off. He looks a horse with a lot of gears and class and I'm hoping he has the potential to make up into a top-drawer novice hurdler but he has a long way to go to reach that level.

He's coming along nicely and I'd hope to have him ready to run some time in November.Mengli Khan - 'plenty of good races to be won'His first season over fences was quite mixed and after a couple of disappointing runs at Leopardstown he showed much better form to be placed in top novice chases at Cheltenham and Aintree. He was a bit disappointing in the Galway Plate last time but he made a bad mistake at the wrong time and I haven't lost faith in him. There are plenty of good races to be won with him over fences and two-and-a-half miles is probably a good trip for him nowadays so he might be one to start back in the Grade 2 over two-and-a-half miles at Down Royal at the start of November. A look at his form will tell you that he has never been at his best at Leopardstown so maybe we will keep him away from there this season.Mount Ida - 'good mare who has progressed well'I'd expect this mare to do well over staying trips as a novice hurdler. She went close to winning a maiden hurdle on racecourse debut last February and I was delighted that she was able to drop back to two miles in bumpers to win her next outing at Wexford. She's a good mare who has progressed well over the summer and I think she is one that could do well for us over the next number of months.Ravenhill - 'delighted with his progress'I've been delighted with his progress over fences this season and he was maybe a shade unlucky not to win the Kerry National recently.

He's an improving stayer with very few miles on the clock and he is a novice until next May which gives us many options with him. I'd say we will aim towards the likes of the Paddy Power and the Troytown with him and he might well be a horse for the National Hunt Chase at Cheltenham but we'll see.

He likes nice ground and I don't think I'd run him on really heavy going.Run Wild Fred - 'horse with a great attitude'A lovely, straightforward horse with a great attitude and I would hope that he will do well as a novice hurdler this season. He won two bumpers last season as well as posting a couple of respectable efforts behind Envoi Allen and when he gets the chance to step up a little in trip and go jumping he will really come into his own. I'm hoping he will at least be graded class this winter.Shattered Love - 'wants ease in the ground to be at her best'Things just didn't go right for this mare last season and after a very good second to Min in the Durkan Chase she wasn't at her best although I did think she ran much better than her ninth in the Gold Cup would suggest.

She was probably one of those horses that was inconvenienced by the dry winter as she wants ease in the ground to be at her best. I do believe that she can still win an open Grade 1 over fences when things fall her way and she will be campaigned in quality chases throughout the season.Sire Du Berlais - 'a very talented sort'On his day he is a very talented sort as he showed when winning the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham last March. I have to speak to J.P. (McManus, owner) and Frank (Berry) about whether we stick to handicap hurdles or whether we go chasing with him.

Either way he will hopefully have another good season.Surin - 'can progress on what she has shown so far'She's a very smart mare and will be contender for all those decent mares hurdles between two and two-and-a-half miles this season. I only got to run her three times last season but she showed good form each time and finished her season with a good third in a Grade 1 at Leopardstown in February. I think she can progress on what she has shown so far and there's a great range of races for her throughout the winter. She might start back in the middle of November.Thatsy - 'should make up into a decent novice'He's an exciting type. He worked like a good horse last spring and when he went to Navan for his bumper I was hoping that he would be hard to beat and he won nicely from another decent horse of ours.

He is a winning point-to-pointer so there should be more to come from him as a jumper and he's always shown us a touch of class in his work which would suggest that he should make up into a decent novice. I'd be hoping to have him back for a maiden hurdle in November. The Storyteller - 'a horse to aim at the National'He won a Grade 1 for us as a novice chaser but he was probably caught between two stools last season and ended up facing some very stiff tasks in top company. In a few of those races he did show up well and I thought that he ended his season with a very creditable run behind Kemboy and Al Boum Photo. I've an open mind as to what direction we take with him this season. He could well be a horse to aim at the Grand National and we could always try him back over hurdles for a while so I'm not sure which way we will go with him. The fact he didn't win over fences last season will give him plenty of opportunities in various conditions chases.

My Stable Sporting Life

He might go to America in mid-October with Jury Duty for a crack at the American Grand National at Far Hills in New Jersey. Timeform's three to follow from Cullentra House in 2019/20. Star Performer – Envoi Allen (Timeform rating b125)Elliott is blessed with a stable chock-full of exciting young prospects for novice hurdles this season, but none of them have achieved as much as Envoi Allen, who looks sure to take high rank in this division after an unbeaten 2018/19 campaign in bumpers. Racing in the famous colours of Cheveley Park Stud, he swept all before him in Ireland before extending his winning sequence to four with a game victory in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival, finding plenty to successfully concede 8lb to the promising Blue Sari.
